Strain Solutions Ltd has been providing stress analysis consultancy services, education and training to industry and academia in the United Kingdom, continental Europe and North America since 2004. With a range of experimental mechanics and non-contacting infrared measurement tools at our disposal, we are able to offer a focused service for the design, commission and optimisation of stress analysis hardware and test methodologies, and associated mechanical test rigs. The company is based in Dunston Innovation Centre in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, United Kingdom, and we are proud to be serving clients across the UK, continental Europe and North America.

Strain Solutions currently offers the following services, at our Chesterfield office or on the client's own site as required:



- Digital Image Correlation (DIC) consultancy and test, and equipment setup/training/servicing in association with EPT Ltd

- Photoelastic stress analysis consultancy and test, with emphasis on reflection photoelasticity and soft tissue modelling

- Thermoelastic stress analysis consultancy services and equipment service

- Thermal NDE (Non-Destructive Evaluation) using state of the art micro-bolometer array infrared cameras

- Design and build of desktop optical and mechanical test hardware for strain measurement and specimen loading

- Strain gauge training and certification through the British Society for Strain Measurement's courses, seminars and exams
